Day 7


Good morning!

Yesterday I fixed almost every problem I had with slopes! The player can now move up and down slopes without problem (if they are not too steep). When going down, he gains a bit of extra velocity according to the angle of the slope.

I also reworked how gravity works, varying whether or not the player is jumping.

Right! We also have jumping working now! 3 different jumps indeed! They work the same as the triple jump in Super Mario 64.



Lastly, I also implemented Coyote Time and Input Buffer when jumping off a ledge and pressing the jump button instants before touching the ground, respectively.

Now I will be refining the feeling of the movement and jumping.
